Easy pork stir-fry recipe

easy pork stir-fry:

Ingredients

  • 500g pork strips (such as pork loin or pork belly)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mixed bell peppers (such as green, red, and yellow)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Slice the pork into thin strips and season with salt and pepper. Slice the onion and bell peppers, and mince the garlic.
  2. Heat the wok or pan: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or frying pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the pork: Add the pork to the wok or pan and cook until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the pork from the wok or pan and set aside.
  4. Cook the vegetables: Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to the wok or pan. Add the sliced onion and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add the bell peppers and broccoli: Add the mixed bell peppers and broccoli florets to the wok or pan. Cook until the vegetables are tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Return the pork and add the sauces: Return the cooked pork to the wok or pan. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), honey, and grated ginger. Stir-fry everything together for about 1-2 minutes, until the sauces are bubbly and slightly thickened.
  7. Serve: Serve the easy pork stir-fry over cooked rice or noodles, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds (if desired).
